About me

Hello, my name is Benjamin I. Harris and I’m 21 years old. I’m currently a senior in college at a private university in Ohio where I study Communication Arts with a focus in Multimedia. My hope is to graduate and then pursue a master’s and eventually a doctorate so that I can become a professor and follow in the footsteps of my father who has been a university professor for over 30 years. My family and I live in a house in the middle of the woods on my parents 79-acre farm. I’m the middle child of five, which has been one of the many blessings of my life.

I have many different hobbies including racquetball, gaming, hiking, swimming, lifting, running….sometimes, but one of my most passionate hobbies is sand sculpting. Along with my family, I have been sculpting for over 15 years. In the past few years things have picked up more steam and we’ve begun teaching sand sculpting classes for the gated resort community–founded as part of the 19th Chautauqua Movement–where we vacation each summer. Sand sculpting for us wasn’t about money or notoriety, and it still isn’t. It’s about having fun and being creative as we grow closer to one another by working together to reach a common goal. I hope to continue to document and share my many stories with you as I go through life.
